The Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology
The Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology carry out education and scientific research in the fields of chemical engineering, material science and engineering, environmental engineering and applied chemistry. The Faculty was founded in 1919. Since then more than 5000 students have graduated and more than 600 candidates have been awarded their Doctoral degrees. The great tradition of excellence placed Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology among the most research-oriented faculties at the University of Zagreb.
The Faculty provides university undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate study programmes in the field of chemical engineering, materials science and engineering, environmental engineering and applied chemistry. Vide variety of scientific and technology projects, financed by the government or the industrial sector, are being carried out at the Faculty at this moment. The Faculty has also developed valuable international cooperation yielding with international projects.
Certificates: National accreditation was awarded to the Faculty in 2008 testifying the fulfilment of all prerequisites for successful teaching and research processes including organisation, equipment, infrastructure and staff.
